AESOP · 14th service · port 8013

What the world was, when it was known,
and how sure we are — per scenario.

The game (aesop_arena_tactical, :8012) plays a fight; this service holds the world it starts from. Every value that can change is an assertion: dated when it was true (valid_at), when the world could first know it (published_at), when the version read existed (captured_at), and stamped with the knowledge cut K, the position of its write in commit order. Nothing is ever overwritten: a correction, a retraction or a ruling is a new row. Every read names a mode, a T0 and a K, so the same question gets the same answer on any clock and after any restore.

Where you are

The per-scenario intelligence database behind the tactical wargame. Producers — the OSINT service, the local-sources placeholder, analysts through the manual producer, and the repository seed — send records; this service keeps them as insert-only assertions and builds from them what a Monte-Carlo ensemble needs: a release to start from, Markov counts to calibrate with, a dated history to be judged against. What you may see is set per scope, and the database itself enforces it.

The four ways to read a scope at T0

hindsightThe truth laydown at T0, from everything recorded by K — the default start of a game and a back-test.
as_heldWhat this database held at T0: only the writes accepted by then.
as_knownOne actor's picture at T0: its own forces in hindsight, everyone else only from sources captured by T0.
historyThe answer sheet: dated facts over (T0, T1], never an estimate or a parameter.

The system specification is aesop_arena_tactical/aesop_arena_tactical_system.md; its §11.3 is the schedule. Every scope — Ukraine and the Middle East included — is an ordinary scope (the owner's decision of 29 Sep 2026).
